Artisans at the Harbor features Wayside Sound on July 9

Artisans at the Harbor, ArtsFalmouth’s weekly summer art market takes place Thursday, July 9, from 11 AM to 4 PM at Falmouth Marine Park, 180 Scranton Avenue, in Falmouth. In case of rain on Thursday, the market will be held on Friday, weather permitting. Artisans at the Harbor continues every Thursday throughout the summer.

The market features 55 vendors, about half of whom attend every week, and others who attend at various times throughout the summer. Visitors will find handmade treasures of all kinds; paintings, prints, cards, beaded, silver, and clay jewelry, pottery, photography, new, upcycled, and tie-dyed clothing, paper crafts, fiber arts, soaps and lotions, meditation cushions and eye pillows,  and much more.

Wayside Sound will perform from 1:30 to 3:30  PM on July 9. A Falmouth-based Americana-blues band, Wayside Sound reimagines roots music in an organic and inviting way. With poignant storytelling, energetic guitar solos, and captivating vocals, Wayside Sound cultivates a homegrown and memorable sound.

Taylor Gonsalves, who sings and plays guitar and flute, leads the band, which varies from one to five musicians. Wayside Sound performed at ArtsFalmouth’s Arts Alive festival in June as a duo.

Attendees are encouraged to bring beach chairs or blankets to enjoy the concert, which is free and open to all.
