Josiah A. Spaulding, Jr., president and CEO of the Boch Center in Boston, and Ernie Boch, Jr., founder of MusicDrivesUs.Org present a $500 check for ArtsFalmouth, Inc. to Marilyn J. Rowland, an ArtsFalmouth board member and one of the organizers of the Woods Hole Traditional Music Stroll. The Trad Stroll features 13 local music and dance groups and takes place Saturday, May 5, from 1 to 11 PM at Woods Hole Community Hall and other locations in Woods Hole.
The Woods Hole Trad Stroll was selected as one of nine grant recipients from over 530 ArtWeek events across the state. Winning events were selected for their creative educational and interactive content.
ArtWeek Boston was established in 2013 by the Boch Center as a means of supporting the creative economy. MusicDrivesUs.org offers grants to organizations and individuals using music as a tool to better the lives of people in all segments of society.
