The Falmouth Art Market features two musical performances on Tuesday, August 20: Black Whyah (which was rained out on August 6) and Country Flavored, plus over 30 creative artists, at Falmouth Marine Park, 180 Scranton Avenue. In addition, there will be a Meet the Author booth, lunch from the Filling Station Food Truck, and ice cream from Sea Scoops. The event continues every Tuesday throughout the summer.
Black Whydah will perform from 12 noon to 2 PM, and Country Flavored will perform from 2:30 to 4:30 PM.

Black Whydah is Jean Sagara, John Best, Cathy Hatch, who play fiddles, guitar, cittern, mandolin, banjo, and ukulele, and sing in three-part harmony.
The Black Whydah band, which is from Wellfleet, plays upbeat Irish, old time, bluegrass, folk, and country songs, and original compositions. Black Whydah is known for its lively and entertaining music, with something for everyone.

The Country Flavored Band performs classic country songs by country legends such as George Jones, Marty Robbins, Hank Williams, and many others. They also include folk songs with a country flavor, as well as play ballads and “honky tonks” by The Mavericks, Johnny Cash, Wayne Hancock, and Bruce Springsteen.
Band members are Roger Rebeiro on vocals and rhythm/lead guitar, Frank Carotenuto on vocals and rhythm/lead guitar, and Ben Carnevale on pedal steel guitar. They often include an electric bass guitar player.

Photographer Mark Chester, author of Roadshow Anthropology, will be at the Meet the Author Booth. This collection of engaging black-and-white photographs captures America from the driver’s seat. Offering fresh perspectives on the United States’ iconic highways, byways, back roads, and small-town main streets, Mark Chester puts America’s unique spirit of innovation on full display. With humor and pathos, Roadshow Anthropology explores high and low culture and the worlds of commerce, architecture, design, advertising, and fashion.
